The Roman Camp Hotel

The Roman Camp is an historic house originally built in 1625 as a hunting lodge for the Dukes of Perth before becoming a hotel and restaurant in 1939. Proprietors of The Roman Camp Hotel for over 30 years, Eric and Marion Brown have lovingly created an oasis in one of the most beautiful areas of Scotland. Its situation in the year-round stunningly beautiful Trossachs and Loch Lomond National Park makes it a haven for outdoor activities of all types. The hotel sits on the banks of the River Teith surrounded by its own 21 acre estate of gardens and woodland yet only a short walk from the village of Callander.
