For almost four hundred years, our house has peacefully nestled in twenty acres of mature gardens right by the river and is easily reached from the village of Callander which is just a short walk away.
We have 15 beautifully appointed suites and bedrooms all en-suite with Travertine tiled bathrooms and showers.
The restaurant, considered to be one of the best dining experiences in country, has been awarded “Three AA Rosettes” for over twenty years, serving lunch and dinner to all. We also have a small café-bistro called the Pottingshed serving relaxed snacks, coffee and meals within the walled garden.
Afternoon Tea’s are popular and served traditionally in our historical lounges each day. The magnificent silk lined drawing room overlooking the river, or our breath-taking Oak panelled library with hidden chapel are the setting for these. Private dining is available in The Wilson Room for groups three to thirty and our Drummond suite can welcome large parties of up to one hundred and twenty for events and celebrations.
You can find forty odd Malt whiskies to choose from in our “Link Bar” it’s certainly an exciting place to be, but cocktails and a vast wine list are also on offer so you shouldn’t be spoilt for choice.
The atmosphere of Roman Camp is warm and inviting with open fires, flickering candlelight and genuine hospitality, we hope you can visit soon.
